Get a taste of Venice in a hassle-free manner on this full-day tour. Marvel at the city's museums, churches, and palaces, take a gondola ride in the canals, or sit back and soak up the city in a cafe', bar, or restaurant.  Start your day with check-in at the port of departure. Choose from either Porec, Rovinj and Pula in Croatia, or Piran in Slovenia. Once you finish the check-in, begin your Venice experience. On the vessel, choose any seat you like and relax in comfort. While crossing the Adriatic Sea, receive an interesting explanation of Venice, its history, all the dos and don'ts in the city, what to expect, and any optional extras you can opt to take once there with your guides. Upon arrival in Venice at San Basilio, walk to the center with your guides, or embark on an optional guided transfer to St. Mark's Square. Hear special stories of the city while avoiding the hot summer sun. Gather at St. Mark's Square for your free guided tour of the square to help you appreciate Venice even more. The tour was well organized. The ship left on time. The guides were very nice and competent. What was not known in advance was that there would be additional costs. €17 per person for the boat ride towards St. Mark's Square. Back 30€, only in connection with the lagoon tour. If you don't want to book it, or you can't book it, 94€ for 2 people, since you can only pay in cash and not by card, the walk is about 45 minutes to St. Mark's Square. If someone has foot problems and doesn't have enough cash with them, they're at ar..... These additional costs should be made known at the time of booking. There is also a gondola ride for €30 and lunch for €23. Each per person. Aside from the extra cost, it was a very nice tour.

The day was very well organised, guided tours and tours were offered on the way there, which included almost everything that is important to experience in Venice: gondola ride, St. Mark's Square, lunch and taxi transfer by motorboat. It was a pity that you didn't know that beforehand to pocket enough cash. And a second small minus point: on the catamaran the air conditioning was set extremely cold! So be sure to wear long clothes and pack them up!

We really enjoyed the day trip from Pula to Venice. The trip by catamaran from Pula to Venice took 3.5 hours and the same time back. We left at 7:30 am and didn't get back until 9:30 pm. Only the passport control in Venice on arrival and departure was tedious. On the catamaran you could also buy drinks and snacks. It was really a bit chilly on the catamaran (I wore a vest) but I didn't find it too bad. On the trip to Venice there was about 30 minutes of interesting information about Venice. We also booked the water bus ride on the catamaran (while the guides also talked about Venice), gondola ride and water taxi ride. That cost €77 per person (you could also book lunch, but we didn't have it). At St. Mark's Square, the guide also gave us a tour of about 30 minutes. The time in Venice (St. Mark's Square) was sufficient for us. We would recommend this day trip to everyone!
