We had a fantastic experience with João, our tour guide. He presented an excellent outline of São Miguel's history. We had a fantastic walk around Punta Delgada's streets. João also shared some fantastic restaurant and points of interest and other recommendations. Our tour ended at sunset, in the Botanical Gardens. João exceeded expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend João as a tour guide. This tour was a fantastic deal for our group!

The tour was definitely worth the price, which was mainly due to the super friendly guide who was able to tell a lot about his own experiences as an emigrant. We were also able to make acquaintances for the holiday and get one or the other tip for other activities.

The tour gives a very good overview about the culture, the historical background and the soul of the people living here.

Very concise audio guide, which makes the visit of the castle fluid and pleasant. Respect of entry times.

Philip was extremely informative. A pleasure to be around, great energy.
