Start with pickup from your accommodation on São Miguel. First, visit two of the most spectacular viewpoints on the island at Grota do Inferno and Vista do Rei. Then, hike to Serra Devassa and admire fantastic views of the ridge and crater lakes below. After the first portion of the hike, rest and have a picnic lunch in the small village of Sete Cidades. After lunch, walk by the stunning Lagoa Verde (Green Lagoon). Enjoy more time to admire the beautiful crater lakes and surrounding landscape from this perfect vantage point. Continue towards the Natural Thermal Pools of Ferraria or Mosteiros Beach. Enjoy some time to rest in the pools or swim in the Atlantic, depending on weather conditions. Finally, be returned to your accommodation on the island.

Great day… for four people with a very nice young guide… crazy landscapes… green walks… swimming in sea water at 38 degrees…. Sunny day… (which is rather rare in the Azores even in August !!! !)… Everything is perfect except the picnic… a shame… inedible… while the food is not expensive in the Azores…. Unripe fruit with a tiny sandwich… dry… and a small brick of filthy juice… in short .. not a bottle of water .... in the description of the day we talked about a snack ... nothing other than these three tiny filthy things all day long .... too bad it ruins the price ...

It was an easy hike on a packed dirt path around the lake, very little of it uphill. Picnic lunch was very nice . They took us to Ferraria beach afterwards . Amazing views . The reason I gave it 4 stars is that they ended it sooner than expected. We were back at the hotel at 4 . I would have appreciated doing more since it’s billed as 8 hour trip .

Beautiful locations. The 2 girls who were the guides for this tour are very kind and smiling. We had a great experience together and we had a great time. I recommend this tour and this agency.
