Jervis Bay: 1.5-Hour Dolphin Cruise
- Small group
- Duration: 1.5 hours
A supposed hour and a half dolphin watch cruise turned into a fabulous 3 hour circumnavigation of Jervis Bay. We were right under Cape Perpendicular and even ventured out through the Heads to view the cliffs along the coast. Caught up with a pod of around 8 dolphins who rode our bow waves for about 15 minutes. Great trip, fabulous commentary. One recommendation- take your block out with you.
The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our cruise. We finally caught sight of some beautiful whales in the last 40 minutes of our cruise so the captain extended the cruise to make sure we were all able to see and take photos. On our way back we had dolphins swimming along side our boat. Wow, what a wonderful experience! Thank you!
It was the best cruise experience I've ever had. It was meant to last 1,5 hours but lasted longer, and even with the bad weather we were able to see dolphins very closely. The crew was amazing so we are definitely coming back another day when it's not raining :)
I've lived in Australia all my life and have NEVER seen wild dolphins as close as I did on this cruise. My 2 kids under 4 loved it and it was the perfect amount of time. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly throughout the journey.
#we were lucky enough to watch a mother whale and her calf playing in the bay. Then on the way back in a pod of dolphins decided to swim around the boat
