1. Charlottenhof Palace
This neo-classical palace lies at the southwest corner of Sansoucci Park, making it a great day out if the sun’s shining. Once a mere summer residence for Frederick William IV.
2. Biosphere Potsdam
Explore 20,000 species of plant in this tropical biosphere, where you get a sense of rainforest life. Open every day – last admission is at 4:30PM weekdays, 5:30PM weekends.
3. Church of the Peace
If you like to find peace and quiet, this place has you covered. A great option as part of a longer trip to explore Sancoussi, the beautiful building is framed by ponds and trees.
4. Sanssouci Palace and Park
Arguably the most beautiful views in Potsdam are found at the Sansoussi Palace and Park. Give yourself a day to explore the grounds and look out for summer concerts and events.
5. Cecilienhof
This palace is almost cute compared to the city’s larger structures, but it’s no less important. The site of Churchill, Truman and Stalin’s discussions to partition Germany.
6. Waschhaus
The largest nightclub in Brandenburg, Waschhaus is also a center for art, culture, music and film. In summer, enjoy the open-air cinema. Exit at Schiffbauergasse/Uferweg station.
7. Dutch Quarter
Chocolate box buildings from the 18th century house small shops, cafes and bars, which attract plenty of visitors to this picturesque part of town. Relax - soak up the atmosphere.

What people are saying about Potsdam
Einfach einwandfrei! Immer gerne!
We had a great and informative trip. Our guide, Nikolai, was very good and took his time explaining the history of Potsdam and answering our questions. It's pretty much a full day tour and worth the time, just be careful there won't be much left to enter Sanssouci at the end.
great tour but probably most enjoyable when you speak german, the live tour guide made it hard to listen to the english recorded information, we did get information in english at the stops but this was less detailed than the german story
We were very lucky. We had a wonderful guide Rob M. He was knowledgeable and funny. It was a drizzling gray day, our group was small, transportation was desolate, it was like we were on a private tour.
