Experience life as it was in Plymouth in 1627 in the Wampanoag Homesite and English Village. Watch as the Wampanoag use fire to hollow out a tree into a mishoon while the Pilgrims cook Indian corn and sausages for the winter ahead. The connections we make in their stories and testimonials remain relevant to this day. This is an outstanding living history activity which should not be missed. Due to school groups in the morning, the afternoon is less busy.
I had been to Plimouth Plantation years ago with my kids, but never thought of it as a fun & interesting place for a date until now. My partner had never been before and she loved it! Read up on the history before you go for added value.
It will be good to have more concrete information about how European immigrants dealt and took over from the natives. Some transition between the natives side and European side would have enhanced the experience
It was interesting. Hard to find any road signs to find it though. Had to give a purchase code, which was manually entered at ticket counter. More work for the patient young man st the counter
Prepare for the visit and you will be able to hold discussions with various role players as you enter their world.
