It was a wonderful experience due in large part to a very knowledgeable and personable tour driver/guide/photographer, Nikki (sorry if spelled incorrectly). She even went out of the way to enter through the East Rim which not only spared us waiting in a long line but allowed us more time in the canyon. I can’t imagine that she travels that route 4x a week and I’m sure Nikki is as upbeat each time as she was with us. Appreciated all the little things too like providing water and allowing for breaks along the way. We would definitely look to Detour again. Mahalo and Aloha!

Sam was amazing guide. He was very friendly. The van was a comfortable ride. It rained and it was cold, Sam went out of his way and offered us all umbrellas and extra jackets he had. I will highly be recommending this company to friends and family that will be heading this way. I am already looking for my next trip to Arizona and I already have my next adventure ready to plan with this company again. This was so perfect. Even though the weather was cloudy and low visibility I wouldn’t change this trip one bit. Happy Traveler, Roni Campos

"Pat" was our tour guide & he was terrific!!! He was like a male "Mary Poppins"! He was so kind & helpful. His driving was perfect. He planned the trip just right. Bathroom stops & snack stops worked out GREAT! He was always there to take pictures & pics for us & were awesome! Also all his information on AZ was so interesting. I am recommending this tour!
