Delphi lies 180 kilometers northwest of Athens, on the slopes of mountain Parnassus, close to Arachova, a beautiful mountainous town. The route to Delphi is amazing, full of sensational, natural landscapes and cute country villages. Delphi is a magical place where history meets with mythology. During antiquity (6th century B.C.), Delphi was the most significant point of reference for ancient Greeks, known throughout the ancient Greek world and beyond, as the sanctuary of Apollo, god of light and knowledge, and the shrine of his high priestess and seer, Pythia. Both kings and mortals consulted the notorious Pythia, about their future. She would even predict the outcomes of battles and wars. Isn’t it exciting? Common people would consult her as well if they could afford it. Nowadays, Delphi is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Greece. Since it is located on a mountain slope, divided into two levels by the main road, the views you will enjoy are out of this world. The site and the museum is a must-visit for people from all over the world who want to learn all about its remarkable history and also admire an awe-inspiring location of raw beauty. Amazing trip, Tas was our driver and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He covered everything from battles, mythology, the culture, etc. Tas showed up on time and made us feel like family. He made ajustments to our tour to show us more of his beautiful country and finished the day off in a outstanding restaurant that he recommended. We would strongly recommend this tour group and would recommended you ask for Tas.

Lisa is very nice .. she explained to us many interesting things related to Delphi/ Greece history. Arachova village was a nice to visit, however, we have only given one hour, which was only used for lunch. I recommend this tour, if you are interested to history.

The guide Mariza was amazing and very knowledgeable. The town we stopped at on the way back was gorgeous. It was a long day and the bus ride almost killed me (I get motion sickness) but it was worth it.

Lisa was a great guide. I really enjoyed my day trip to Delphi

a beautiful trip, a wonderful guide, I recommend this trip
