Full description

Start your tour by meeting your captain at the harbor of Peniche. Take a ferry towards the Berlengas archipelago, where your glass-bottom boat trip will take place. Then, take a 30-minute cruise around Berlengas, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve that includes various nature conservation sites. Look down into the clear waters and spot marine life. You will also enter some caves, such as the Blue Cave and the São João Batista Cave.

Excellent very enjoyable and well organized trip. Good value for money and the island is well worth visiting. Our guide was very good. If I was going again I would spend more time on the island and not bother with the glass bottom cave tour which was interesting but didn’t add a lot to the overall trip.

If you’re in the area you HAVE to check out this national reserve. There was some confusion at the pick up spot because there are so many tour companies at that spot but once we got to the right place everything from there was smooth sailing. It was an ‘easy’ tour to take - definitely worth the money!
