What people are saying about Penglipuran Village

This was a terrific activity, especially doing it on New Years Eve! Our driver, Comang, was great. He spoke good English and was incredibly helpful. Our guide Nyoman, was excellent as we walked, allowed us to walk at our own pace and was patient, supportive and encouraging. Our host at the Volcano Terrace was lovely, very friendly. The accommodation itself was very basic and the villas do not have a kitchenette however drinks can be purchased if you ask. Overall an excellent activity that is well worth the drive. Great service, amazing views and a unique activity to see in a new day.

We had a great adventure with a perfect guide. Lanang took us on the trip and travelled with us on this experience. Cooked some great eggs and showed us very nice places! Also very nice to talk with all the local guys walking down the volcano!

beautiful hike with a very nice and attentive guide

This activity is over rated compared to the prices offered on the spot for the same thing ... also considering the price of the night in the hostel ... I paid too much by booking in advance with you!

we had a great time and our guide was super nice - luckily we did go during low season but there were still some other people

Our 2 guides were fantastic.... Wayan espically ! Well worth the early morning start- Would recommend
