Milos Highlights: Full Day Sailing Cruise in a Small Group

1. Milos Highlights: Full Day Sailing Cruise in a Small Group

Starting from Adamantas and sailing close to the east coast of the bay, you will pass the Christian catacombs, the colorful villages of Skinopi, the capital of ancient Milos and the place where the famous statue of Venus de Milo was discovered.  You will then reach Cape Vani, the bay which was home to one of the first metal mines in Milos. After seeing the old 19th-century mines, you will have the first swim at the bay of Kalogries in crystal clear turquoise waters. After swimming and having some fresh fruit, cakes and refreshments the skipper will set sail for Sykia, the biggest and most impressive cave of Milos. After a quick swim, you will take the small motor-boat under a low passage made of lava rocks and visit the cave.  Head back to the boat and enjoy some ouzo with a variety of Greek homemade tapas. Finally, you will reach Kleftiko, the old pirates-lair. Snorkeling here is an amazing experience due to the underwater passages, caves and an unsurpassed water clarity. Back on the boat, refreshments and ice-cold beers will be waiting for you, followed by a delicious meal and dessert. After you eat you can take the dinghy and go explore the unique Kleftiko caves and passages.  Later, the boat will head east towards Gerakas bay, after a short swim, enjoy fresh fruit back on the boat. The cruise ends in the beautiful tranquil bay of Provatas around 7:00 PM. From there, you will travel back to Adamantas in just 15 minutes.

What people are saying about Peloponnese

Such an incredible tour. Stavros and Daniel were incredible friendly, fun, and informative. I am traveling solo and felt very welcome and comfortable with the crew and other guests. We hit all the must-see places along the coast, got close up with the caves, and had a perfect amount of time for snorkeling/swimming/tanning at multiple locations. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful adventure. George and Roque do a splendid job. Equipment is high quality and everyone is made to feel at ease before heading off. The trip along the coast is interspersed with fascinating history and anecdotes from George. The caves and swim are not to be missed. A picnic on the beach before heading back rounds off 4 hours exceedingly well spent.

What an amazing experience! The sailing trip was definitely a highlight of our trip to Milos. The guide Yiannis was so fun, funny and informative. Our captain was great - even though it was windy we didn't even notice as he expertly guided our boat to all the tops spots. The food was excellent and the drinks aplenty. Highly highly recommend.

Incredible experience, the crew couldn't do enough for us, the food was plentiful and very good and a real congratulations to them for knowing how to perfectly manage visiting times and rest spots!

This was a completely excellent trip—beautiful sights, amazing food, and fantastic guides. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it as one of the best experiences of our trip to Greece!
