Full description
Meet your team at Le Peloton Café, the office and base located in the quintessential old Parisian streets of the Marais. After meeting your group and being introduced to your local guide, find the perfect bike for you and your family before setting off to the islands just across the river. The very first sight you'll see is Nôtre Dame to learn about it's history, construction, and reconstruction. Following that, swing around the island, through a local flower market, and right up to the Palais de Justices. After crossing by the infamous Fontaine Saint-Michel in the Latin quarter, make your way over to the Pont des Arts, Paris' first lock bridge. Learn about the importance of the bridges of Paris and the Institute of France, before popping into the back entrance of the Louvre. Meander around the cobblestones of the older courtyard before gliding through the archways to the bigger courtyard, where the famous pyramid of the Louvre sits. After some family photos, continue onward to receive views of the Tuileries Garden and the Orsay Museum. Next up, visit Les Invalides. You'll pass through the Place de la Concorde - once the sight of the monarch-executing guillotine, today the site of an Egyptian Obelisk. You'll then cross the Alexander Bridge, approaching Les Invalides head on (which is best known for being Napoleon Bonaparte's resting place). From there, you'll take a pit stop on Rue Cler, a bustling pedestrian street filled with delicious snacks. Indulge yourself with a crèpe or an éclair before heading through small streets to the Eiffel Tower, and pedal alongside Paris' most famous landmark until you meet back up with your trusted bike path to cross the river. On the way back, there's even more to see. You'll pull into the Grand and Petit Palais to learn a little more about the World's Fairs that once took place in Paris, before taking a photo op at the Arch de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées. Your tour concludes with not one, but two fun tunnels and a beautiful ride along the Paris riverside.

Excellent tour, especially if you're not in town for long! Great way too see all the "big ones" on a few hour cycling tour, instead of spending a couple of days walking your feet to blisters in the heat to see the same things. Saves you time and energy to spend the rest of your holiday experiencing the city on your own. The guides are top notch! Thank You Alex.
