Full description
Immerse yourself in opulent Parisian luxury on a self-guided tour of Palais Garnier. This iconic opera house is famously known as the setting of Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel, The Phantom of the Opera, and its later musical adaption by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Combining multiple architectural features, this lavish building epitomizes French grandeur and is an important spiritual home of the country's rich dance, musical, and theatrical traditions. On your visit, you can tour different areas of the building including the Rotonde des Abonnés, Bassin de la Pythie, Grand Staircase, Grand Foyer, Avant-Foyer, Salons de la Lune et du Soleil, Rotonde du Glacier, and the tapestry collection. You will also be able to visit the Paris Opera Library-Museum and enter any temporary exhibitions at no further cost. After your visit to the Opera, experience the romance, elegance, and beauty of Paris on a hop-on-hop-off sightseeing tour. Explore the cobbled streets of the city’s left bank, take in the Napoleonic splendor of the Ecole Militaire, and visit the structure that has become the symbol of Paris itself, the Eiffel Tower. A good tour for those who want to see Paris in 2 hours

    August 23, 2019

Busses were extremely full, not at regular intervals as advertised. Other companies had more busses (empty sometimes) while we had to fight for a seat at times.
