Full description
Discover the most crucial moments of the French Revolution on this tour. Enjoy a tour that has been handcrafted for the whole family so that it is engaging and entertaining for all.
Meet in front of la Comédie Française, and begin by enjoying a drink with your guide as they lay the foundations of the Revolution. Stop at the Tuileries Gardens where the French Republic was born and walk Concorde to Square, one of the most critical places of the French Revolution.
After a short metro ride, arrive at the Hotel de Ville, or Town Hall. This was a vital place for the Parisians, among whom were the French “sans-culotte” revolutionaries. This is where they met to exchange ideas with one another.
Last but not least, behold the Bastille. This is where on July 14, 1789, the French people famously attacked the Bastille Prison. This moment in history marked the beginning of the end of absolute monarchy and the beginnings of the French Republic, as we know it today.
