Full description
Like all sumptuous and famous places, the Palais Garnier has its mysteries, myths and incredible stories. This is the angle from which this tour proposes to approach this jewel of architecture. Your guide will narrate its history through the story of Erik, the mysterious man with a hideous face, more well-known under the name of the Phantom of the Opera. Having made the opera his home, the phantom knows its entire history and can recount 1001 anecdotes and other curiosities. The short story by Gaston Leroux will thus serve as a thread throughout the visit, leading you beyond the great chandelier, stall number 5 and the angel of the music, to reveal unsuspected splendours.

Despite the very deplorable welcome from the security guards when we arrived, the visit was great. Great and very interesting guide Little advice: if you want to avoid being badly received at the doors of the opera house arrive before 4.30pm (although the reservation suggests arriving 1/4 before the doors close which is at 5.00pm). This reception was very deplorable coming from the security and the guides inside the monument.

Fantastic

The guide spoke with a nice pace and sound about the mysteries of the opera. Through stories and pictures via a tablet, we were guided through the opera. Unfortunately we could not go backstage because a ballet was preparing. However, the rest of the opera see a magical experience without other people. The guide also let us walk around freely for photos during the tour. All compliments to the guide. She was very enthusiastic about her profession and nice to listen to

Do not hesitate a single second: the visit lasts 90 minutes, but you will have the impression that it only takes 10 because it is so rich! The interior of the Opera is as impressive as the guide (Sandrine). We come out of this visit full of magic, beauty, and with the desire to read The Phantom of the Opera. Thanks again to the guide for this fabulous moment.
