Excellent tour in a "must experience" Paris neighborhood

Out guide, Anastasia was excellent. She has a strong art history background and was able to bring color, context, and life to the landmarks. This was our favorite neighborhood in Paris and I'm certain we would have missed so much of its history had we not taken a guided walking tour. Highly recommend.

Informative and pleasant!

Our guide, Felix, knew Montmartre like the back of his hand. From Le moulin rouge to the Sacred Heart Basilica, Felix led us through Montmartre's narrow lanes and streets all the while providing us with info and delightful narratives of the places we visited. He brought his Tablet and complemented the information about this lovely neighbourhood with before and after photos of the many places we visited. Through his pictures on the Tablet, we saw the evolution of the arrondissement of Montmartre. Felix treated us to a taste of a traditional baguette baked in an award winning bakery. We spent a delightful two hours touring this iconic neighbourhood.

Fun and educational

We learned a lot from Liliyana our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about art history and tied famous works to locations on the tour. She had a great personality too. The view from Sacre Coeur was unbelievable. A must do. Tip: lots of hills. Wear good shoes / sneakers.
