We had a fabulous time despite the rainy day. It was a wonderful way to get a taste of so many delicious treats that we would never stop for. Learned to appreciate the beauty and thought into these treats too. A nice tour of the Marais and Roberto, our guide, was the KINDEST gentleman we met in Paris! We did the tour at the end of our trip and I would have done it sooner to experience the beauty of the Marais. We would have spent more time in this area.
Our guide was Erell and she was very good. She provided a lot of history of the Marais area and gave great information about all the pastry and chocolate shops in the neighborhood. She answered all of our questions and went above and beyond!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Marais section of Paris with Anya. She asked what kind of tour we wanted, and we asked for the Jewish history of the area. She was very informed and pleasant - the time flew! Highly recommend her.
Important to point out that this is a walking tour of the Marais with some food stops along the way. Some people in our group were disappointed there wasn’t more food and didn’t seem interested in the sights of the Marais!
Ask the tour guide to verify what is actually open if you go during July or August. Some places close for Holiday. We got to several and they were closed despite what their website stated.
