Full description
Escape Paris for the day and cross the border to the capital of the West Flanders region of Flemish Belgium. The full-day tour, with round-trip transfers from central Paris, will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bruges, sometimes referred to as the “Venice of the North.” Enjoy a guided walk of the historically rich center, admiring the gothic-style City Hall, the ornate Renaissance architecture of the Place du Bourg, and the 12th-century Basilique du Saint-Sang (Basilica of the Holy Blood), among other attractions. Free time will be allocated for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy Belgian specialties, such as traditional moules frites (mussels and French fries) and an extensive selection of Belgian beers. A visit to the Groeningemuseum, home to Flemish master painters, such as van Eyck and Hieronymous Bosch is a popular way to spend an afternoon in Bruges. Alternatively, shop for handmade lace and Belgian chocolates in the city’s boutique stores. During the summer season, choose the guided option to enjoy a boat cruise along some of the most famous canals of Bruges, built as far back as the 12th century.

It was all great. It was easy to get to the meeting point. The bus was comfortable. The guides on the bus were great (we went into Bruges on our own without a guide though). It was good that we stopped for restroom break, however I think that if the breaks were shorter, perhaps we can have more time in Bruges. It seemed like we were there for way too short a time period.

good activity, comfortable bus, only that the guide went very fast and it was understandable but it would be good if he gave his explanation and 5 minutes of photos then walked another explanation and 5 minutes of photos since in the end it gives us photo time of about 2 hours but It is difficult to return to the first points to take photos

It was magical! Our guide gave us great tidbits. A few helpful things would be to move the meeting place because the metro 13 is under construction for a month. Also the location in the Brugge was near a park that was also under construction so we almost missed the bus on our return because we had to walk around the park. Which took us over 35 minutes because we accidentally took the far side around.
