    Full description
Discover more about the exhibitions and gain a deeper insight on a private tour of the Centre Pompidou. Meet your guide outside and begin your tour by examining the museum's striking exterior. Designed by Renzo Piano, the building was conceived as an “inside-out” structure and is instantly recognizable. After hearing about the museum’s origin, begin your tour of its modern art collection, which contains nearly 3,200 works. Learn about abstract art and how to place it in its proper context, allowing you to appreciate it fully. Your guide will lead you to the most important pieces in this amazing collection, explain the groundbreaking artistic movements that question how we see the world, and help you interpret and understand the sensational artworks. Visit the museum's modern and contemporary art galleries and find out about recent artistic movements like Fluxus and Minimalism. Hang out on the museum's roof and take in the Parisian Panorama. By the end of your tour, you’ll have a complete overview of the modern art world.

This was the best guided tour we've ever had, anywhere.

This was the best guided tour we've ever had, anywhere. Our tour of the Pompidou collection was a fascinating two-hour mini-seminar on modern art. Boris, our guide, is a genial, attentive, well-spoken, thoroughly knowledgeable young humanist scholar. We thank him for an altogether delightful and informative morning at the Pompidou.

Very much apprecitated our two hours with Boris; he made us see things in new ways. Very, very knowledgeable. Much food for thought. Highly recommended. Many thanks from Clara, Agneta and Anders
