Truly magnificent palace wonderfully brought to life by our guide 'Z'.

We were met in Paris by our guide 'Z', who skilfully transported us via the train to Versailles. Once there, thank goodness we were able to skip the queue, and immediately begin our tour. 'Z' had given us a brief presentation on the history of the palace during our train journey, but once inside his expert knowledge and commentary was both educational and entertaining. Having completed our tour of the palace 'Z' guided us into the gardens and, after ensuring that we knew how to retrace our steps to the station and to Paris, we were free to explore the gardens at our leisure. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
