Lively. Knowledgeable. Respectful. Recommended. Our guides from Barefoot, Tereza and Gonzo, had great rapport, were enthusiastic, and very engaging. Tereza was also kind with our ever curious elementary-age child. Tereza and Gonzo really knew their stuff. We loved that they shared stories about their personal experiences, individual animals, and the unique knowledge of the Wounaan people. They also showed warmth and regard for the people. We got the sense that they really work with them as partners. Which we appreciated. They were also respectful of the wildlife we encountered. We learned a lot and had a great day. Highly recommend the tour.

Our tour was private, the driver went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent day. We invited him to join us on the second leg of the trip! He politely declined. We loved the experience.

Teresa was an amazing guide and she made the trip a really fun and interesting one. Plus she speaks English fluently so it’s really easy for tourists to understand the tour.

We had a great guide who had a very good knowledge about the wildlife and the culture of the indigeneous tribe which made the tour a great experience.
