  • Private Pamukkale and Hierapolis Day Tour from Istanbul

    1. Private Pamukkale and Hierapolis Day Tour from Istanbul

Board an early morning flight from Istanbul to Pamukkale, where this day tour begins. Pamukkale, which means cotton castle, comprises a series of limestone terraces formed by the action of the hot springs that create a waterfall. The water contains a high concentration of carbonic acid and lime, and flows downhill to form stalactites, waterfalls and basins. Nearby are the ruins of Hierapolis, where the Roman baths were converted into a church during the Byzantine period. See the Roman theater and well-preserved ancient thermal baths. Bathe in the waters and visit the pool of Cleopatra (admission not included). After the tour, board a flight to return to Istanbul.

It was truly the best part of my vacation. The arrangement was timely, the guide Ali was wonderful, gave us all the interesting facts regarding turkey and the area. He was Well versed in history to give the details of Hierapolis. Thank you so much this wonderful experience. It was worth it and it was my best day in turkey :)

The overall trip was excellent. But had problem in going on the day when it was actually planned. Our flight tickets were not booked and the flight got booked. I was neither informed to provide my passport details at the time of booking nor informed later. When I called to local agent hd informed me that since I had not provided the relevant details the trip has to be cancelled/postponed. So I had to go the next day. While returning back the flight to Istanbul is very late and had to wait for 4 hrs at the Airport. The place and the guide were excellent.

Spectacular place

The place is simply spectacular! The ruins of this roman holy city is fabulous. The theater, the thermal ...everything and then we swam for 2 and half hour in cleopatra' pool! The only problem? They made us to wait over an hour at the airport going home. Nobody was there! We have to call the tour guide twice before someone finally came!!! After a long day like this was not fun!!! In fact we woke up at 3.30am and come home at 9.30 pm!!!!!

Excellent ... a beautiful place. Fact: there are few Spanish-speaking guides, so I suggest making reservations in advance. Our excellent guide attentive and with a brief history class intrigued us and in Greek and Roman times to see the theater ... later Cleopatra's pool ... to end with The "cotton castle" simply WONDERFUL

Exceptional place

I liked the tour, the punctuality in the collection, the punctual flights and although the guide lacked a bit to refine the Spanish it was understood. I recommend the tour because you enjoy it a lot and do not stop bathing in the hot springs of Cleopatra is a luxury
