The Teatro Massimo in Palermo is a work of art, it ranks third in terms of the largest opera in Europe behind Paris and Vienna. The guide explained it great both in English and Italian, leaving a few minutes to contemplate its majesty. For lovers of cinema and the Godfather saga, they will be able to contemplate a room and some views that appear in one of the 3 films.

The third largest theater in Europe is worth visiting !! Very concise but comprehensive guide, the guided tour takes about 30 min. 10 euros well spent !!

Amazing building. Very pleasant guide who knew lots about the theatre and even shared some jokes. Perfect English.

Very enjoyable. It is great to see where part of Godfather 3 was filmed.

Beautiful place plus they were rehearsing for an opera too!!!
