The place is truly sublime. Palccoyo, the other rainbow mountain has nothing to envy to Vinicunca! The mountain itself is perhaps a little less spectacular, but the surrounding site is one of the most beautiful creations of nature that I have ever seen in my life. The road is a little winding and "turbulent" but it is well worth it. The hike itself to reach the summit is splendid, in the colorful mountains, and not too difficult. Very enthusiastic guide. Vidal, our guide, was awesome from start to finish. He engaged all of us on the tour and was accommodating at every stop. The tour started very early 3;30 am in order to get to the mountain top location when the light was at its best. Only downside was the fact that the last road up to the mountain was unplaced and really bumpy which lasted for an hour. This was unavoidable as it is the only way to get to the base of the mountain . Just wish the local government would spend more time to smooth out the roadway somehow

Everything was perfect: small group, few tourists thanks to a very early departure, quality meals and our great Junior guide who is very professional, authentic and attentive. What show !
