A very good tour even if the weather was bad. Tom was very informative about the episodes of Morse who in was in them and where they came in line with the colleges. As I have said it would have been more enjoyable if the weather had been better but not a thing Tom could do about that, but he did fine us a pub that had a very good mull wine.

The tour was fast-paced, but there is a lot to cover in Oxford in two hours. Since this was our first time to Oxford, it was helpful to have an insider's help so explain the history and politics that shaped the city. Having the tour themed around Morse/Lewis/Endeavor is a clever way to make the old city relevant. My partner and I both have hearing issues. When we told our guide about this at the onset, he was very responsive by ensuring he was stationary and facing us when he talked (rather than talking as he walked ahead of us).

We had a fabulous time on the tour. Our guide, Tom, was excellent – very informative and entertaining – and we had a lovely afternoon. Tom was very pleasant to talk to and we heard delightful stories about many historical places as well as how they related to episodes of Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. We even saw Endeavour being filmed so that was a bonus. We were also greatly impressed with the way that Tom conducted the tour at a gentle pace to suit my mum as she has mobility issues. Would definitely recommend.
