Start the day at the Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, where you will have time to explore the narrow pedestrian streets on your own and visit the countless labyrinthine rooms of the palace. Afterwards, you can visit the movie museum across the road before continuing to the Atlas Corporation film studios. Here you can see the diverse film sets where famous movies like Gladiator, Babel, Prince of Persia, and, most recently, The Physician were shot. You can also have a look at a fortified city wall used in the movie Gladiator, and enjoy a panoramic view over Ouarzazate and the snow-covered Atlas Mountains. The next highlight is the ancient Kasbah Tifoultout, 8 km outside the city. This fortress belonged to the family of Thami El Glaoui, Pasha of Marrakech from 1912 to 1956. Part of this old kasbah is today used as a hotel-restaurant, while the rest is slowly crumbling into the red desert sand. Then continue to Oasis Fint for a traditional lunch at a local family's home. You have time to explore the quiet and peaceful oasis at the river with a guide who will tell you all about local life. The day will end late afternoon back in Ouarzazate.
