The experience starts with a short stroll around the Christmas-y city. On your way to the Christmas market village, you will learn a bit about Oslo's history and some of the most famous sights. After about an hour, we will move to the 'Winter village' which is the biggest Christmas marketplace in Oslo. You will be able to take the opportunity to warm yourself up with the traditional Norwegian drink, “gløgg” (mulled wine), or taste some of the traditional Christmas foods such as “julegrøt” (porridge), “julepølse”(pork sausage), or “tynnlefser” (flatbread) and learn everything you need to know about the Christmas in Norway. The tour is concluded with a cozy session by the fire where your guide will be telling you one of the most magical Norwegian Christmas stories while you'll be sipping your warm gløgg.

Excellent, good value guide around Oslo with just enough information on the places of interest visited. It was useful that all the history and extra information could be viewed once the walk was finished. This helps if planning to return to any sites. Not for the faint hearted though: we walked 20000 steps! If it is the first time using these, be aware that you have to download the World Trail App to log in, not just the Get Your Guide. Will definitely look out for these in other cities we visit.

This was our first WCT scavenger hunt and we really enjoyed it. The puzzles were tricky and solvable. Some a little heavier, some a little lighter. It was a lot of fun discovering Oslo like this. The info was from history. everything to pop culture. We can recommend and would also try another city. SPOILERS: It should be noted that the last two stops in particular are a little further from the city center by foot. But the last stop has the tram station connected directly.

Some of the puzzles were quite tricky, but they were all solvable. To compensate, there were sometimes easier puzzles. It was very good that you could easily get to the next place with the help of Google Maps. The pictures of the next puzzle locations were also helpful. All in all a successful game for the whole family. We'll definitely play it again in another city if we get a chance.

It was a fun day in Oslo for our family of four - two teenaged children - to follow the tour. The history and background information was just enough to take in and fulfill our Tourist needs. It’s nice to go at your own pace and the tour could be done in 2-3 hours or 2-3 days if you chose to go into and explore many diversions.

It is a fun activity, ideal if you go with teenage children.
