Top ten things to do in Orlando
Orlando is the ultimate playground for kids and anyone who is a kid at heart. Wish upon a star at the Magic Kingdom, then head to the heart-pumping rides at a water park. To top it all off, travel to the stars at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.
1. Walt Disney World Resort
This mothership of entertainment landed in Florida in 1971 and has been luring the masses ever since. There are four theme parks, including the Magic Kingdom, and two water parks.
2. Magic Kingdom
It's the world's most visited theme park, welcoming over 19 million visitors a year to its six individual "lands." Liberty Square reflects small-town Colonial America in 1776.
Spaceship Earth, the iconic symbol of the park, is a virtual time machine that whisks visitors on a journey of human communication, spanning millennia in just 15 minutes.
4. Disney's Animal Kingdom
It's one of the world's largest animal theme parks. The Kilimanjaro Safari takes visitors in a vehicle through the open spaces, where elephants, antelope and others roam freely.
5. Disney's Hollywood Studios
The park features eight themed sections of Tinsletown, complete with a Hollywood Blvd. "The Great Movie Ride" at the Chinese Theater honors classic films, like the Wizard of Oz.
6. Islands of Adventure
This is the place to explore the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" and "Hogsmeade." Discover the magic of Hogwarts and get a thrill from other wizarding moments.
7. Wet 'n Wild
Take it easy on the Lazy River, or experience a rush while plummeting six stories down a vertical slide. The park certainly lives up to its name with hair-raising rides.
The Dolphin Plunge at Sea World sends you barreling through a tube in the underwater world of Commerson's dolphins. These sprightly creatures will whiz right along with you, too.
9. Discovery Cove
The park offers the ultimate experience to swim with dolphins in a tranquil lagoon. Swimmers can also get up-close to frisky, freshwater otters and explore marine life in a reef.
10. Kennedy Space Center
What a place to learn about the US space program! A replica of the external tank and two rocket boosters towers 184 feet over the entrance to the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibition.

What people are saying about Orlando
EVERYTHING about this tour was awesome. The initial booking process....easy. The communication with the Company BEFORE the tour...awesome and timely responses to questions we had. Starting the tour was perfect! We arrived about 20 minutes early and Bill (our guide) was already there and had our kayaks ready to go. The experience...it was WAY better Han we had hoped for. Not only did we see LOTS of wildlife, the manatee encounters made for lifetime memories. We watched one feeding which was fantastic, but we were blown away with the experience of having several come right up beside our kayak and poke their noses out of the water and look at us...like they were on tour to see the kayakers. Our guide (Bill) NEVER rushed us and always allowed extra time when something peaked our interest. In my opinion, this is the perfect tour for animal lovers and people that simply enjoy nature. We traveled from Colorado, and this tour made the entire trip worth every penny.
Well organized operation with knowledgeable and experienced guides. Manatees are an underwater living animal so seeing was a little tough as they swam past but the guides did the best they could to get you reasonably close. Lots of other wildlife and flora to see along the way. Guides gave us 3 hrs plus on the river well worth the price if you enjoy being out and about in kayaks
I enjoyed it a lot! Very educational and inspiring. Some staff were very friendly and courteous, unfortunately, not all staff were as nice. I had a cheese burger, which cost $8 and was cold and as a result the cheese that they put on the burger did not melt but remained cold, very disappointed in the food quality. Overall, I would say it was a great place to visit.
Everything was fantastic! The Astronaunt Hall of Fame, Different Space Rockets, Shuttles and Apollo. Loved the IMAX information on Apollo flights etc. We will make sure to share with family and friends how it truly is worth the time and money in visiting the Kennedy Space Center! We were so glad we did. We were visiting from out of state from Lehi, Utah.
This place is absolutely, dare I say it... Out of this world!! Seriously though, my husband, myself and our kids, 20, 17 and 8 all loved it. We spent the entire day here, did not even see everything and had a BLAST! I would definitely recommend visiting the Kennedy Space Center. It is not only educational, it’s simply....fun, for the whole family.
