Chloe was very knowledgeable and really brought this experience to life. I think that going without a guide would be a mistake. As you would miss so much of the history of this place. Chole filled the day with her historical knowledge and relevant and interesting anecdotes. The logistics of the day were flawless. You are totally looked after from pick up to drop off. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
we were greeted at the meeting point and helped to transfer to our guide for the day Sebastian. Sebastian was a very knowledgeable and sensitive guide who navigated the site and transferred us back to the train station. he also supported us with onward transfers. great experience and a very worthwhile tour to incorporate into your trip. would highly recommend any tour with Sebastian as the guide.
We had a great tour guide in Josh. He seemed passionate about telling the story of the camp, by portraying the resilience of human nature, through the artifacts in the museum. I thank him for his interest and for allowing our group to join his as our tour guide did not turn up. Thank you also to the lady who did the ringing around to get someone to be our guide, much appreciated.
Overall the tour was good and our guide Julian did a good job explaining the background and history of the different parts of the buildings we visited however the entire tour did feel very rushed. We were given 2-3 minutes in some buildings which didn’t get us very far as the place is crowded and just standing in line to get in takes 2-3 minutes!
Very interesting tour despite the tragic circumstances. Nickolai was very knowledgeable and was a very good guide. Group was quite large but he managed this well. Felt a little rushed but this was not guide’s fault as lots to see and do in short period of time. Highly recommended.
