Monument Valley Tribal Tours and their guide Marjory were wonderful!! We were picked up as promised and taken for a tour of the areas accessible to anyone. Then we continued on to a special presentation of yarn making and rug making. The expert answered all of our questions about her presentation and about Native American life. We then continued on to other formations in the rocks and were shown things that you had to see to believe.

This is an excellent tour; I recommend it. There was one thing that was of concern when I booked the tour: the tour only accepts parties of two or more people, so even though I was traveling alone I had to pay for a second, non-existent person. Later, I discussed this with tour staff and came to a good solution. But I encourage the tour operators to no longer require that guests traveling alone pay for two people.

We loved the experience! It made our whole trip better with our driver sharing so much personal info about life within the Navajo country. Plus the views you get to see more of on this guided tour is such a bonus. Also with the company driving, we got to go ahead of everybody in line for the valley drive. Since they are experienced it made the drive through it very relaxed. We would totally do it again!
