After being collected by your guide your first stop is Oia. Driving to Oia is by itself an amazing experience, as the road taking you there is surrounded by cliffs and breathtaking seascapes. Oia is located high on the ridge of a cliff and has the best views of Santorini. In Oia you can choose to visit shops, or simply just walk around to discover the typical architecture of the island. You will then continue to Firostefani, where you can find the most visited church of the island with its famous blue dome. From Firostefani you can also enjoy a view of the volcano, the caldera, and Fira. Next you will visit Megalochori, one of the prettiest and quietest little villages of the island which is located inland, away from the caldera cliffs. A beautiful bell-towered archway welcomes you to this traditional village, that is an actual maze of extremely narrow cobblestone streets winding through hundreds of traditional whitewashed houses and churches painted in bright blue shades. Here you can can relax at one of the two tavernas at the main square of the village. After Megalochori you go to Profitis Ilias, the highest spot of the island. The mountain took its name from the monastery of Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah) which is built right on its peak. This vantage point offers you a unique panoramic view of the entire island, from the patchwork agricultural plains to the hilltop village of Oia. Your last stop is Kamari, where you can explore the amazing volcanic black beach.
