The temperature in the catacombs is about 14°С all year round, so don’t forget to put some warm clothes on! Than we had a beautiful tour with a fast boat on the Dnieper Delta with Anatoliy who knew a lot about the nature here, and the specific animals and plants in this yet undiscovered but beautiful nature of Ukraine. Anatoliy was very hospitable and we had a great time with him. We lunched on a beautiful place next to the river and had homemade food. All in all I would like to recommend this tour.

Heartland journey of Ukraine

With this tour, the visitor is able to experience both the aquatic flora, fauna and hospitality of the rural, riparian Ukraine, only a short drive from Odessa. It makes a refreshing break from the urban surroundings and enables the tourist to engage with the local people who live and work in their life blood..the Dnister river. Tour guide Natalia, and local river host, Anatoli, make it easy to understand the history, seasonal variations and character of this ever changing river estuary with its abundant bird and plant life. The picnic lunch with local, traditionally cooked fish and Anatoli's wealth of local ( and international ) knowledge only added to the experience. No doubt worthy excursion year round, but best in summer to see the protected environment of White lake brimming with snow white lilies!!. A great southern Ukrainian experience!!
