It was short and sweet. My guide Belinda was very knowledgeable and highlighted the most important points of the tour. I learned a lot about Mesoamérica (and especially the Zapotec reign. We even had some time to explore on our own. The next time, I will take a longer tour.

Another excellent tour by Get Your Guide! The full programme was very punctual and we had a very knowledgeable bilingual tour guide. Having read other reviews, I was worried that we wouldnt have enough time to explore afterwards but we did so we're so glad we booked it!

We got picked up at our hotel in a taxi, which we weren't really expecting, since we assumed we'd be picked up in the minibus itself. We were taken to a meeting point where there were several minibuses and several tour groups. We got allocated to a 12-seater minibus. The bus was full but fairly comfortable, and fortunately the journey was only about 30 minutes. We changed guides when we got to Monte Alban. The guide was very good and gave excellent context about the site and its archeological significance, but there was a bit too much detail, which reduced the amount of time we had to explore the site. The trip back to town was good, and the staff were flexible about dropping people off at various locations.
