Nos reuniremos a la hora indicada en la plaza de O Corgo, en la que daremos comienzo a este free tour por El Grove, uno de los puertos de entrada a la ría de Arosa. Iniciaremos la visita con una introducción sobre los orígenes marineros de este pueblo y nos detendremos ante la fachada del Ayuntamiento para ver el escudo de El Grove, ligado a una serie de leyendas que, por supuesto, os desvelaremos. Caminaremos por la calle Oscura hasta llegar a la plaza de Arriba, donde aprovecharemos para hablar del desarrollo económico de la localidad y contaros algunas curiosidades relacionadas con la viruela. Paseando por las calles de El Grove encontraremos viviendas típicas marineras, como la Casa de Patín, y edificios históricos como el antiguo hospital, la capilla de San Antón o la primera fábrica de conservas del municipio. A continuación, nos desplazaremos al barrio marinero de Peralto, donde veremos la particular estructura de sus calles que bajan al puerto. Siguiendo esta ruta llegaremos a la playa de Confín, en la que conoceremos la actividad marisquera de El Grove y observaremos el puente que lleva a la isla de La Toja. Explicaremos desde este punto las peculiaridades de esta isla, uno de los centros termales más populares de Galicia, y escuchamos algunas enigmáticas historias sobre ella. Ria de Arosa Cruise + Mussel Tasting At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Pier nº3 of the Port of O Grove, where the catamaran will be waiting for us to start this boat trip along the Arosa estuary. For an hour and fifteen minutes, we'll enjoy cruising around this beautiful location as we watch the shellfish farmers at work. We'll also marvel at the stunning views of Arosa, O Grove and Cambados. During the cruise, we'll also visit mussel, oyster, and scallop farms in the area to learn first-hand how these mollusks are bred. What's more, thanks to the boat's glass bottom, we'll be able to admire the fish swimming beneath. But that's not all, because during the whole tour you'll enjoy an open bar of white wine and unlimited mussels - yes, as many as you can eat! Lastly, we'll sail back to the meeting point, where we'll end our boat trip.
