Uluru 1.5-Hour Sunset Tour with Sparkling Wine & Cheeseboard

1. Uluru 1.5-Hour Sunset Tour with Sparkling Wine & Cheeseboard

You will depart the resort late afternoon: sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park. Your driver guide will provide expert commentary while you enjoy the amazing surroundings and incredible sight of Uluru in the distance. This fascinating icon stands 348 metres high, although most of its mass is below ground level. You’ll be overwhelmed by its incredible size, presence and inherent spirituality.  Enjoy sparkling wine and nibbles while you begin to absorb the enormity and beauty of your surroundings. You can just relax or stroll around the Sunset Viewing Area to discover your own personal space to watch the amazing Uluru sunset.  Don’t forget to take a photo every few minutes to capture the famous colour change. Have your driver guide take a photo of you with Uluru in the background – although they say the memory will stay with you forever! Return to the resort after sunset and in time for a dinner booking.

Uluru: Sunset, Sparkling Wine, Cheeseboard & Gourmet BBQ

2. Uluru: Sunset, Sparkling Wine, Cheeseboard & Gourmet BBQ

Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru National Park. When you arrive at the Uluru Sunset viewing platform, be greeted by a selection of Australian wines and a cheese board as you begin to absorb the beauty of your surroundings. Find your ideal spot, and then just sit back and relax as you watch the sun disappear behind the horizon and change the colors of the rocks in a million splendid ways. After sunset, you will be transferred to an exclusive barbecue site. The site is located far enough away from the resort lights to provide a clear view of the stars in the southern sky. Relax in the company of friends and fellow travelers on beautiful white tablecloths, enjoying sparkling wine. Dine on an Australian gourmet barbecue menu of steak, kangaroo meat, lamb sausages, chicken skewers and garlic prawns, salads, and a tasty dessert. All accompanied by a selection of red and white wines, beer, and soft drinks.  After dinner, tea, coffee, and dessert will be served and your guide will conduct a tour of the night sky, describing and pointing out some of the visible constellations with the assistance of a high beam spotlight. The guide will also explain some Aboriginal stories that relate to the stars before you return to Ayers Rock Resort.

What people are saying about Northern Territory

It is a jam-packed day that lasts almost 24 hours. Well worth the long bus ride. Little stops along the way make you appreciate the nature and the place. Sunset dinner at the end is definitely the highlight and is an amazing way to end the day. Our driver Yad did a fantastic job driving and taking us around!

Wonderful day out from start to the finish with the fabulous BBQ.Rained all day so the sad thing was no sunset.I have tried to see it twice but no luck,i dont think my pension will run to a third try.I see Curtain Springs toilets are no cleaner than 6 years ago.No change there

Spectacular!!! Amazing experience. Food was great very intimate dinner with a small group. The tutorial regarding the stars and planets after the dinner was very informative. The rock at dusk is a must do.
