What people are saying about Norte Region

We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Porto by Pedro. My sister in law and I were the only people on the tour. Pedro was well educated and during the drive we talked flora, fauna, and politics! Pedro asked us what we were interested in and I stated I was most interested in the Iberian wolf and being out in nature. Due to this interest and evaluation of our degree of fitness, he decided going to a shepherd corral was a good choice. We had an incredible hike up into the mountains to a remote bog and shepherds hit. . The hike was steep and a bit rocky, but we were in capable hands. The views were amazing. We saw wolf tracks and scat! Then a lovely local lunch with wine and more food then we could eat—bean stew, steak, bread and cheese and cod fritters. We then drove around the park a bit, seeing waterfalls and milestones. The end was great—a soak in a hot springs in Spain with a full moon, Jupiter and Venus on the horizon. This trip is highly recommended.

This was by far the best tourist activity I have had. Ricardo was an amazing tour guide and kept us engaged with stories on the way to the mountains. We had cookies from the oldest bakery in Porto and eventually went up the mountains. The drive up and down the slopes was insane and felt like a roller coaster while we screamed and took pictures. We came down at different points to hike and explore the hills and Ricardo took pictures of us and eventually made a 2 minutes slide show of our exploration. We finished the tour with a beautiful lunch by a spectacular view of the high hills and spring water. It was a dream

Cannot rate this trip enough! Ricardo was a brilliant guide, very friendly and knowledgable. The tour itself was amazing, the mountains were beautiful and the off roading is such an experience! It was incredible to stand in the back of the car and the view points Ricardo chose to stop and explore were spectacular. I would also recommend adding on the lunch. The restaurant was a rustic little gem in the mountain that you’d never find without this tour and the food was delicious! 10/10 for all the trip, couldn’t have been better!

Amazing tour with Ricardo! He showed us a lot of unusual and hidden spots, the best panoramic views and a typical Portuguese village. Ricardo is a very nice and professional guide who prepared for us a lot of unexpected surprises! It made our stay in Porto unforgettable, don't hesitate to book this activity, you won't regret it! Thank you again! :)

It was unforgettable tour specially with our guide Mr.Ricardo he was so knowledgeable, friendly and very nice guy We enjoyed our time and had so much peaceful time between the mountains .thanks a lot
