What people are saying about Norte Region

We had a wonderful experience at Quinta da Portela de Baixo -- it was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip around Portugal. We were stuck on New Year's Day with our previously booked tour being canceled last minute, and had low hopes for finding a replacement on short notice. Knowing that we'd likely be out of luck elsewhere, they ran a tour just for us. The wine and snacks fantastic (and plentiful), and our guide was lovely. We would highly reccomend this tour for anyone visiting the Duoro.

We were not able to take advantage of the bus because the schedules did not coincide, but what we walked was very interesting. The boat ride really beautiful. I did not go to the warehouse. Keep in mind that you must first have the purchase validated on the bus, before being able to take the boat ride. It is very important to keep the ticket that is given to you on the bus for the entire time (24 or 48 hours) to be able to access the next times and to the boat.

Incredible value for money!! The bus ticket lasts for 24 hours (maybe 48 we weren’t sure) so we managed to do both bus tours on separate days which was great! Get your bus ticket first then hold onto it as it’s your ticket for everything. We didn’t prebook for Calem but turned up and they had availability - note: the email address sent to book the tour didn’t work so might be worth calling to prebook

Pleasant excursion on the Douro. I recommend this activity to those who love nature, relaxation and sailing out of time.

Very good tour to get to know and get an idea of the old and modern city. Tour of its beautiful beaches.
