From Da Nang: Private Tour to Hoi An and Marble Mountains

1. From Da Nang: Private Tour to Hoi An and Marble Mountains

Explore beyond the borders of Da Nang, with this private day trip by visiting the fascinating Marble Mountains and Hoi An’s Ancient Town for the most beautiful spots. Start the journey with a pickup at your accommodation in Da Nang and head to Non Nuoc Village. Also known as Non Nuoc Fine Arts Village, it is set at the foot of the Marble Mountains and features hundreds of artisans showcasing their work. Find stone and marble statues as well as household items, utensils, and jewelry. After browsing through the many sculptures at the foot of the mountain, take a short lift up the Marble Mountains. One of central Vietnam’s famous landmarks, the Marble Mountains are a cluster of five limestone cliffs named after the elements of the Earth. But don’t be deceived by its imposing facade. The mountains themselves have many caves, tunnels, and shrines to visit and explore. On this tour, pass by the Linh Ung Pagoda, the Tang Chon Cave, Huyen Khong Cave, and Tam Thai Pagoda. After descending the mountain, head to Hoi An’s Ancient Town. Once a flourishing trading port, this UNESCO World Heritage Site remains well-preserved with old-style shophouses, museums, and temples all open to explore. Wander through the weathered streets and pass by bridges, museums, and assembly halls before stopping for a tasty Vietnamese lunch (at your expense) and heading back to Da Nang.
