Port Douglas

We had an excellent day and a fantastic experience. Our guide, Kyle, was an inspirational and knowledgeable guide. We were told to be picked up at 07-0730am, and we were picked up at 0745am. We stayed at a hotel in Cairns. We returned to our hotel at 7pm after a packed day of lots of awesome sightseeing and exploring. Kyle told us a lot of scary real-life stories about stingers, snakes, sharks, saltwater crocodiles, and cassowaries. Some of us were maybe a bit too frightened by all of these stories and subsequent warnings. Bathing in the Mossman Gorge River was refreshing but we got little time and there were lots of people. We saw three crocs at the river cruise which was really cool. The lunch was a little disappointing because my burger was overcooked with a burnt taste. My partner however enjoyed her meal fully. The beer that I purchased however was refreshing. It's incredible that we got to see and experience all of this in a day. Thanks Kyle!
