Guests will be picked up from their resorts to connect with the ferry boat from the port of Agios Nikolaos, in Skinari. At the start of the tour, while passing by, you will see the Venetian castle of St George. The first stop will be at the monastery of St. Gerassimos, the patron of the island known for his miraculous abilities to cure people with mental illness. The monastery is considered one of the most sacred pilgrims' points in Kefalonia and is situated under the imposing Mount Ainos.
Next, you will head to the impressive Drogarati cave, located outside of Sami, with its fine stalactites and stalagmites. Experts estimate that the cave is about 150 million years old. The tour will continue to the Melissani lake and cave, where you will take a short boat trip, experiencing the fantastic colors of the water as the sunlight is reflected through the open roof of the cave. The next stop will be at the town of Agia Efimia.
You will have time here for lunch, a stroll, or souvenir shopping. After, you will be driven towards Argostoli, along the west coast of the island, and have a short photo stop at the viewpoint overlooking Myrtos Beach. This is followed by a short break in Argostoli for a nice stroll around the square. The ferry boat will depart Kefalonia at 6pm and will arrive back in Zakynthos at approximately 7.45pm. You will then be transferred back to your resort.
