After that, head to Ho Chi Minh complex and have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the Ba Dinh Square. Have a look at the One Pillar Pagoda with its unique structure of a lotus flower rising from the pond. Here people worship the Godess of Mercy. It is the most unique padoga in the world. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam in the feudal system. See the Tran Quoc Pagoda – first built in Ha Noi in the 6th Century. You will see the oldest Bodhi Tree in Vietnam planted by Ho Chi Minh.  Leave for Saint Joseph Cathedral with an architectural style resembling the Notre Dame de Paris. Start the city tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature. Originally built in honor of Confucius by King Ly Thai Thong in 1070, a university was added to the grounds six years later. The university provided education to the royal family and children of the aristocracy or "mandarins". The University remained here until King Gia Long moved the country’s administrative capital from Hanoi to Hue at the beginning of the 19th century.
