Our guide was a very nice gentleman. However, we spent most of the time in Battery Park and walking up to the 9-11 Memorial. He was very knowledgeable about New York City in General, but once we got to the Memorial the tour and narrative just sort of stopped. No personal insights or really much to say about it. He didn't take us to the church that survived the attack. So, for $160 EACH, we could have done this ourselves. I feel like we were 'had'. I don't know if there's any recourse for a partial refund. I do think that if you check online you can probably find a self-guided tour for free. We were super disappointed.
