A really good tour with great food! We knew that there would be a lot of walking beforehand based on the information provided, so make sure to wear your comfiest shoes. The use of the metro during the tour was super easy too (we had already purchased a 7 days unlimited ticket which we used during the tour too). The route was great, although we didn’t get to see the flat iron building as described. The food was also great - we loved the dumplings and the cannoli! The pizza was good too (but we personally prefer ‘Rays Pizza’ ;)). Unfortunately, we didn’t have the hot dog described but after having the other 3 items, we didn’t feel it would have been needed anyway. Our tour guide, Andrew, provided useful information about the various sites on the tour, but couldn’t answer some of the questions asked by the group about other parts of the city. Overall, a good tour, and a great way to explore the city (and taste some of the food)!

Our guide was wonderful! She knew so may interesting things. We were never bored! I do wish this food tour had remained a food tour. We felt rushed to eat. We dropped out in Little Italy. By that point, we could no longer keep up and we actually wanted to look around instead of fast walking by everything. As a food walking tour, my impression was that we would walk, sit and eat, repeat. I didn’t want to fast walk for four hours. This was my try New York food forget the calories day.

The weather was extremely uncooperative, it rained off and on (mostly on) our entire tour...but Bobby was like a ray of sunshine, and an absolute wealth of knowledge! We were completely impressed with how easygoing yet completely focused he was during our tour. Five hours can be a lot, especially with inclement weather, but Bobby kept the tour interesting; some of his great personal stories were an added treat. Each of the food items we had were simply delicious--my granddaughter is a very picky eater, but she loved the pork dumplings; Bobby encouraged her to try them. While we didn't see as much as we would have had the weather been better, it was a thoroughly enjoyable tour; and Bobby was a most fantastic guide!
