A really great experience. I encountered a group of people from Greece, Australia and Italy. Our guide Steven was really entertaining and very friendly. We learned about the history of Washington Square Park, Stone Wall, several old residences, the location of the “Friends” apartment from the TV show, the skinniest building in New York, the location and history of the Triangle shirt waist fire.... where all the neat jazz and comedy clubs were in the area.... the list goes on! I highly recommend this tour!
This was a nice tour, but it wasn’t what I expected, especially in terms of learning about Disney. I thought we would go into more than one theater to learn about the history. We only went into the New Amsterdam theater. It was a lot of standing in front of the locked theaters and learning about our guide’s experience on Broadway. Again, it was enjoyable, but not what I expected.
Immerse yourself in the ever-present culture as you stroll down bohemian streets and imagine a life where poets, artists, writers, and activists converged at the most unlikely, yet likely places. Follow a knowledgeable and charming guide who draws you into the past with captivating stories and the sights to match. Not to be missed!
Didn’t really know what to expect but I can highly recommend it. It was such fun. I went with my sister and daughter who is 28, so very different ages and we all loved it. My daughter was blown away with the experience. The staff made it fun but at the same time made it informative.
An excellent insight into the area with a very knowledgable guide. The stops were informative and not too long or taxing. The Gospel service we attended was enjoyable and enlightening. A good time was had by all in our party
