Step aboard the decks of an elegant 1920's-style yacht, for an educational architecture tour around Manhattan, hosted by architects and members of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY). Enjoy your trip through the Hudson, East, and Harlem rivers from the air-conditioned observatory, or wander to the outer decks for fresh air and sunlight. Circumnavigate the island of Manhattan, passing under all 18 bridges, while taking in the sites and architecture. Examine the visionary development of the waterfront memorials, get an update on the One World Trade Center, Downtown "Starchitecture", Jean Nouvel's 100 Eleventh Ave. condos, and classic icons of lower Manhattan like the Woolworth Building, Wall Street's art deco spires, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Great tour! All the staff were very attentive, professional, and personable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The boat was very clean and I appreciated that we had a good amount of space between us and the other groups. The snacks and drinks were great. Worth every penny. I think this is a must if you are visiting New York!

A wonderful water tour around Manhattan. Very well organized. The boat was beautiful, clean, air conditioned, and very comfortable. The lecturer was terrific. Very thorough and intelligently presented. Wine and small bites were a real treat over the 2+ hours onboard. I will recommend to friends and will most certainly take it again soon. So much to see and learn and being on the water was magical.

Beautiful old boat! Fantastic experience to see New York from the water and get some history. I read in the reviews prior to my booking that people talked which made it difficult to hear the speaker. Unfortunately this happened on my trip too. Despite being repeatedly shooshed they continued and so I missed a lot of information. Such a shame. Was still a great experience even though it was a rainy day. Not enough food though. We were told by the speaker that there was plenty of food so not to rush. But then there was none left! I advised the staff (the girl was a bit rude not being apologetic at all); thr young guy did well to perform a ‘loaves and fishes’ miracle but still not really enough to choose from. Great concept but just needs some fine tuning.
