    Full description
Remember the terrible events of 11 September 2001 on a walking tour, and journey through the former World Trade Center in New York. Guided by New Yorkers with a personal connection to 9/11, the tour includes personal anecdotes and touching stories of tragedy and heroism. Meet at St. Paul's Chapel to see the church that miraculously survived the falling buildings and debris, despite being only a block away from the World Trade Center.  Hear heroic stories of the emergency responders at the Firefighter's 9/11 Memorial Wall, and see the Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, the fire station at Ground Zero. Enter the 9/11 Memorial, where you can pay your respects to those who lost their lives. Look at the names of the nearly 3,000 victims placed around the waterfall next to their friends, family members, and colleagues. Stay as long as you wish at this beautiful 8-acre oasis. Your guide will then provide you with timed-entry tickets to the 9/11 Museum and One World Observatory. Your guide will provide a short orientation of the museum to optimize your time inside. You are then free to explore the artifacts and recordings at your own pace.  Next, take a 5-minute stroll to the Observatory to marvel at its engineering and architecture. Start in the lobby of Freedom Tower with the "Voices" documentary dedicated to the men and women of the World Trade Towers and the new One World Trade Center. Then take the "Sky Pod" elevator to ascend 1,250 feet in 60 seconds. Access the main observation deck to enjoy immersive LED displays, interactive touch screen videos, and dining options. The main draw however is the breathtaking view of the New York City skyline.

The experience and information was well worth the price. The stories our guide shared were very interesting and the museum was awesome. We stayed there over 3 hours. Unfortunately, it was very overcast when we went up to the top of the One World Observatory, so we couldn't see much. They will issue you a ticket for another day, but we couldn't take advantage of that.
