From Blue Mountains: Mountain e-Bike Ride, Hanging Rock

3. From Blue Mountains: Mountain e-Bike Ride, Hanging Rock

This is an amazing self guided tour, and never ever gets a bad review... ever! We meet at the lovely village of Blackheath, just 12 mins minutes from Katoomba, or 2 hours from Sydney by train. Upon arrival, we professionally fit you to your bike and helmet, and give a comprehensive rider safety/skill briefing. We then go though the map in detail so you know where your going. No one has ever got lost as it is a simple out and back, that is, ride out to the lookout, then come back the same way. Once we have you all set up, you ride though Blackheath and pick up the Burramoko Ridge dirt firetail to start our awe-inspiring ride to the edge of the magnificent Grose Wilderness. The Burramoko dirt cycle firetrail leads you along a ridge to a dramatic rocky bluff. With scenic valley views and crisp mountain air, it’s a sublime ride for adventurer who want to feel how small we are against mother nature. You meander through heathlands, open forests and dramatic views on route to Baltzers lookout, in search of Hanging Rock. Upon arrival, we have no gates and no fences (totally raw), so expect your tummy to clench and the heart rate to elevate. You’ll feel on top of the world as you gaze across the scenic tree-lined enormous gorge fringed by golden red cliffs. On a clear day we can view the Sydney cbd! Here you enjoy your snacks and relax to enjoy the moment! This is a great ride for most skill levels. You must be able to ride bike and feel happy and confident on a bike. We also have available another ride called Anvil Rock Trail which is the easiest and most risk free of all rides. It is half road and half hard pressed gravel road. A side trip to Eroded Cave is part of Anvil Rock. Anvil Rock starts and finishes at the same place as Hanging Rock Trail, so you can just let us know at the start of the ride which you prefer to do.

Blue Mountains: Guided Mountain e-Bike Tour, Blue Labyrinth

4. Blue Mountains: Guided Mountain e-Bike Tour, Blue Labyrinth

HALF DAY PRIVATE CHARTER, electric mountain bike tour. Meet at the lovely village of Glenbrook, just 1 hour from Sydney by train or car (recommended). The tour starts in the spectacular Euroka campground in the Blue Mountains National Park. Attractions could include a combination of: Real Aussie bush, Mt Portal and Tunnel View Lookouts, Nepean Lookout, Oaks and Mount Portal single tracks, enormous ancient eucalyptus trees, kangaroos and lyre birds (if we are lucky). Enjoy your provide snacks (fruit, muesli bars, lollies, water), on a clifftop with beautiful views. This is our most popular tour given its only 45min-1hour from Sydney. The dirt roads we access are great to the average rider. In addition to the ride, you get lots of coaching, and focus on basic safety and skills that are transferrable to every bike ride from this day forward. This is a very relaxed and low risk ride. This location also gives me many trail options to tailor it to your riding ability. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO RIDE SERVICE, riders must know how to ride a bike safely and feel confident within them selves on a bike.

Blue Mountains: Mountain e-Bike Ride, Narrowneck Plateau

5. Blue Mountains: Mountain e-Bike Ride, Narrowneck Plateau

HOLY MOLY!!! You want views? The only way to do this ride is on our electric e-bikes! This is an amazing dirt fire trail and from start to finish we do approx. 30km and climb 900 vertical meters... that's a lot of HILLS!! Trail surface has loose rocks with some steep descents and unskilled/unconfident riders are likely to fall, so If your skills are not that great, you should check out the Hanging Rock ride with its amazing views...but without the big hills! The spectacular Narrowneck trail follows a ridge-line deep into the valley, offering exhilarating scenic views across the Megalong Valley in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Setting out from Katoomba, you do a short ride on tarmac road and then hit the dirt and head deep into the undulating trails of this un-spoilt wilderness area of the Megalong and Jamison Valleys. This ride like most in the Blueys, is an out and back
