If the opportunity arises, get up close and personal with friendly bottlenose dolphins and discover how inquisitive they can be. You can also look out for sea turtles as they come up for a breath of air and marvel at the size of the majestic humpback whales as they migrate through Byron Bay during June - October. Enjoy paddling your kayak out through the surf and later ride some of Australia's most famous waves. If you don't see a dolphin, turtle or whale you can paddle again with the tour operator free of charge.

With a maximum of 12 paddlers, your small-group kayak tour allows you the time and space to explore Sydney Harbour at a gentle pace. Begin with a safety briefing and introduction to your equipment, before heading out onto the harbor to explore. With around 2 hours of paddling, there is plenty of time to see Sydney’s famous harborside landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Circular Quay. Through the kayak tour, your guide will take photos and videos which will be provided to you later in the evening.

Admire the stunning environment of Manly Cove on a relaxing kayak tour. Arrive early for a coffee or tea while you get ready for your tour. After a short safety briefing and paddling demonstration, you'll head out with an experienced guide and explore the cove's four beautiful beaches. We will paddle to Collins Flat, Store and Quarantine beaches, passing picturesque caves, striking rock formations and mini-waterfalls. You will stop on a secluded beach to learn a little about the local area and enjoy a refreshing juice and snacks. If you are keen to take a dip, there's plenty of time for a swim before we paddle back. You don't need any previous experience kayaking, as this is a gentle tour at a leisurely pace. Your experienced guides will make sure you have a well-fitted life jacket, and give you a safety briefing and paddling demonstration before we head out. You are welcome to bring a phone or small camera to capture the views, as we hand out dry bags before setting off. You will have a choice of a single or double sit on top kayak. The single kayaks are streamlined and fast, or choose a double kayak if you'd like to share the paddling in a sturdier ride. Children under 10 can join with an adult (or two) on double kayaks (which have a middle seat). Children 10-18 must be accompanied by an adult, but can paddle solo. In the case of unsuitable weather, we will postpone the tour. This is a small group. Maximum 8. Larger private groups can be arranged by request.

And if you want to purchase more oysters to take home, there’s plenty of room in our touring kayaks to store them for the paddle back.

Head out on a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbor. Paddle to the centre of the harbor to take photos by Sydney Harbor Bridge, before exploring Goat Island on foot with your expert guide. Escape the noise of the city, and simply enjoy the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above as you paddle in the harbor. Get up close and personal to both the built environs and natural wonders of the harbor, including its marine inhabitants. After reaching the center of the harbor, pose with Sydney Harbour Bridge for your guide to take high-quality shots of you. Then, land in a secret cove on Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal language), and explore the area on foot. Make the most of this experience: Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only, included in your tour. Paddle back via Darling Harbour, and take a hot shower, if you like. Take advantage of the end-point's proximity to the famous Sydney Fish Markets, and refuel with a great lunch.

Try out kayaking which is a fantastic, fun, and relaxing activity even for beginners.  First, arrive at the kayak location in the heart of Manly, where you will be given an explanation of the area and fitted with a life jacket and paddle. Be shown the basics before you set off, the kayaks are stable and easy to steer. No prior kayak experience is needed.  Receive a map of the kayaking area of operation, and when you are ready, begin your kayaking adventure. Dry bags are supplied as well, so you can bring your own picnic, and enjoy lunch on one of the pristine beaches in the area.

Explore the highlights of North Harbour by kayak on our mini kayak tour. This 90 minute adventure is perfect for first time paddlers looking for a unique way to explore the highlights of Manly Cove and North Harbour. You will meet your kayak guide at our West Esplanade location for a tour briefing before hitting the water. After launching your guide will lead the group into the quiet waters of North Harbour exploring some of our favourite beach locations including Fairlight, North Harbour Reserve and the famous Reef Beach where, if you’re lucky, you may spot our resident sea turtle! After a 30 minute paddle you will land at Reef Beach for a short bushwalk to the historic Arabanoo lookout at Dobroyd Head. Enjoy spectacular views through the Sydney Heads and see the iconic Manly Ferry cruising into Manly Wharf. Then it’s back to Reef Beach where you will have time to relax and have a quick dip before jumping on your kayaks for the final leg back to Manly. There is no better way to experience the absolute best Manly has to offer!
