What people are saying about Naxos

Great day exploring some beautiful beaches around Naxos! We went to 3 stops total. The first stop, rhina cave was only for a short 40 minute swim which flew by quick. We were at the next stop longer than the first which was also beautiful although I would have liked if we spent more time at the first as it was the main selling point in the headline of the tour. The lunch was a tuna risotto and then fresh fruit was provided for a snack The first 2 swim stops are really beautiful. The third is a beach closeby to Naxos so you probably need a boat tour to go to that one. Downfalls: Snorkel masks and noodles are provided but not fins. - The tour company website says wifi is provided but the staff said it was not available. - No fresh water shower available to rinse off after salty swims. - Sails were put up but motor was never turned off which isn’t real sailing (if that’s what you’re looking for on this trip then you’ll be disappointed in this) Overall, great day!

The most incredible experience!! Every bite of food was delish and prepared with ingredients we picked ourselves directly from the garden at the start of the class. The cooking preparation was funny and accessible for all skill levels. While the food we prepared was cooking we walked along the beautiful property and river while our guide Anna told us stories about the history and mythology of the area. Our guide Anna was incredible and felt like a friend by the end of the night. We did this class with our group of 13 friends and it was our single favorite thing we did in Greece!! 10/10, would book again if we come back to Naxos. Take this class - you’ll be so glad you did!

This experience was amazing! Not only did we learn a delicious recipe and get to eat an amazing dinner, but we had so much fun! It was great to talk and learn more about the island and it’s history, and dinner was even accompanied with some Greek dancing! They have such and amazing property that is beautiful and bountiful. We got to pick our own tasty looking ingredients for dinner, and it was so much fun! The recipe was very fun and perfect for a group to work together on. And of course, we got to try some of their wine, which was also delicious :) I would absolutely recommend this experience!

We throughly enjoyed our cooking class at Basiliko Family Tavern. We are a family of four with two teenage boys. We loved our tour through the garden, the hands on cooking class, and eating our meal with fun and interesting table mates. Highly recommend!

Great day out, took us to some nice spots. The day disappeared very quickly
