You really have to visit this museum which perfectly complements visits to Pompeii or other villas. We had to exchange our vouchers for tickets and therefore queue like everyone else. I don't know if it was really interesting to go through this site. We didn't feel like taking a guided tour and that was fine. It is quite hot because there is no air conditioning. Don't forget your water bottles.

Visit of the site (in French) by a wonderful archaeologist "FRANCESCO", passionate and fascinating, he tells you the story of Pompei with love.... I hope you will have the chance to meet him.....

The Egyptian museum was closed too bad and the Greek collections were at 1.50 euros in addition to the ticket. But otherwise only wonders for the eyes I recommend.

Very impressive exhibition, unfortunately not that many explanations in English.

very good museum! it was great to visit it before seeing Pompeii!
